Just wanted you to know that Kim is here with me.  :)  She has been my paparazzi and support in many ways. Here she is at breakfast this morning. This has been our standard breakfast location each morning -- if you look close you will see the photos being uploaded to the blog.

Today in about 30 minutes we'll be heading out of Lilongwe. We'll be going by the market to pick up fruits and vegetables. Then we'll pick up Amos and Zuze, who are the leaders of the Chiefs' Ministry, on our way to Nkhoma. This afternoon we will be visiting a new Chiefs' Bible Study and I will be speaking. I'm thinking of sharing out of Philippians, since we've been studying that at SCPC (thanks, Tod, Candie and Charlie).  :)

I don't think we will have Internet connection in Nkhoma, so there probably won't be any more photos for a while. I will continue to text Bret, who will send out Tweets and Jon will try to keep updating this blog with text.

The plan we have now is to go to the hospital on Monday and meet with the head doctors in the afternoon. Tuesday morning we will visit our World Vision sponsored children. At some point we will meet with those who coordinate accommodations at Nkhoma. Wednesday morning we'll head back to Lilongwe to meet with Pastor Tad and Kennedy at the CCAP (Church of Central Africa Presbyterian) Youth Department. We hope to meet with representatives from Opportunity International as well. Many of the leaders of our Y-Malawi partner organizations were at the FTS celebration, so I was able to connect briefly with them.

Thanks for your prayers. I have only had one night where I couldn't sleep due to the congestion in my head. Neither Kim nor I had back pain even though we sat for about 5 hours yesterday without a break. Praising the Lord for this opportunity to serve and knowing that you all are with us. Zikomo! (Thank you.)

Louise and Mphatso before the ceremony with the tents in the background.

During the celebration three young children, who are part of the FTS Nursery School program demonstrated what they have learned. One counted to 10 in English, another said most of the alphabet and this little boy prayed out loud (very loud). It was awesome!

Louise, Christina and myself. I have photos of us holding Christina last year when she was just a little baby.

Mphatso's "crazy" face. She wanted us to take this photo for John Gash.

Had a Fabulous day today at the FTS 10th anniversary celebration. We heard testimonies from children as young as nursery school student who counted, said their alphabet and prayed outload. It was so beautiful. Yes, those who know me, know that I cried many times today. We heard youth recite passages of Scripture and adults share how God has changed their lives.

More to come. Off to have pizza with Louise and company at her house.

Off to the FTS 10th anniversary. Looking forward to worshipping God with our Malawian brothers and sisters.

Louise and me at the nursery to purchase the trees.

Lamek explains about the new guest house being built.

The wifi connection is not very strong tonight, but I did manage to load a picture from today of Louise with the four trees that will be planted tomorrow at the celebration. It was a warm day, but we were able to help with some projects in preparation for the celebration tomorrow. It will be a long day, so we are headed to bed. Hopefully I can get more pictures posted tomorrow.

Please pray that I will represent well our church, the Y-Malawi partnership and most of all, the Lord Jesus Christ, as I participate in the program tomorrow.

Blessings.
After breakfast at Madidi Lodge, Kim and I joined Louise and Kobus, her nephew, to run errands. We purchased trees for the celebration tomorrow. Honored guests will get to plant the trees at the ceremony. We have had a tour of Mukani (the FTS headquarters), which has had some new buildings since my last visit in 2012. I am hoping to post some photos, but it is not working just yet.
